- What is the check-in time?
Check-in is from 15:00 to 23:00.
[Late check-in]
Late check-in is available from 23:00 to 24:00 only for those who contact us in advance. (Additional fee: 1,000 yen, cashless payment only)【Things necessary】

・Customers with foreign nationality and no address in Japan: Passport[Check-in method]

- Is early check-in available?

- Can I store my luggage before check-in or after check-out?
Free luggage storage is available on check-in and check-out days. On other dates, a luggage storage fee of 200 yen per day will be charged.
Please inquire at the front desk if you wish to have your luggage checked in. (The front desk is open from 8:00 to 23:00.)

- Can I change my planned check-in time?
If you wish to change your check-in time between 15:00 and 23:00, there is no need to notify us of the change.
Please come at a time that is convenient for you.
However, if you wish to check in later than 11pm, please be sure to contact us in advance.
- What is the check-out time?
Check-out is until 10:00.
Late check-outs are not accepted. Check-out between 10:00 and 11:00 will be charged JPY 1,000, and check-out after 11:00 will be charged 1 night’s accommodation fee. (Please note that this is not an extended stay.)[Checkout method]
・Check-out after 8:00: Please return your room card and room key to the front desk staff.
・Check-out before 8:00: Please return your room card and room key to the room key return box located at the front desk. The main entrance is locked, so please exit through the back door.
- Can I extend my stay or the check-out time?

Check-out between 10:00 and 11:00 will be charged JPY 1,000, and check-out after 11:00 will be charged 1 night’s accommodation fee.

There is no shower or bathtub in the room.
Shared shower rooms, available 24 hours a day, are located on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors. There is a changing room and washroom, and shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are available for free.
*The bathroom on the third floor is for women only.
- Do the rooms have a shower and bathtub?
There is no hair dryer in the room. There are shared bathrooms on each floor.
- Is there a hairdryer in the rooms?
There is a safety deposit box in the dormitory room.
If you are staying in a dormitory, please use the lockers provided in your room to store your cash and other valuables.
- Is there a safe in the rooms?
If you are staying in a dormitory, there are two types of luggage storage.
① Valuables case for storing small items such as passports (lockable)
② Luggage container that can hold a small backpack (cannot be locked)

FOCUS KURAMAE offers camera rentals exclusively for hotel guests.
Of course, you can take out the rented camera.

*We require a deposit of 5,000 yen.
(We may not be able to accommodate your request for a camera if it is out of order or out on loan.)

There is a shared kitchen and lounge on the 1st floor that are available 24 hours a day.
You may also bring food and drinks into the lounge.
There is also a parfait and bar. Enjoy delicious food and drinks.

We do not provide clothes for indoor use. Please bring your own comfortable clothes.

- Can I change or cancel my reservation?
Procedures for changing or canceling reservation details vary depending on the plan.
Cancellations made after a reservation is completed may incur a cancellation fee.

- How do I get there?
The nearest station is a 3-minute walk from Exit A4 of Kuramae Station on the Toei Asakusa Line, or a 4-minute walk from Exit A5 of Kuramae Station on the Toei Oedo Line.

There is a 24-hour Family Mart about a 3-minute walk from the hostel.

Menya Yochi, a ramen restaurant that uses duck meat, is highly recommended by our staff and is visited by many guests.
General facilities
- What is the concept of the hotel?
Kuramae is called the Brooklyn of Tokyo, and it still retains a strong downtown atmosphere.
In this area where good old small factories still remain, FOCUS KURAMAE was once a camera parts factory.
This hostel has features unique to its photography concept, including a full-fledged camera rental service for guests.

- Can I request room cleaning for extended stays?
Cleaning requests are accepted once every 4 days.
If you wish to do so, please contact the front desk staff by 11:00 pm the day before.
- Is there a curfew?
The closing time is 23:00.
You are free to go out after the museum closes, but the main entrance will be completely closed at 24:00.
After 23:00, guests who have checked in can enter and exit from the back door.
- Is there a sauna?
We have SAUNA&co, a members-only lifestyle sauna where you can work, eat, socialize, and stay in one building.

- Are there any smoking areas?
The entire building is non-smoking.
There is a smoking area on the rooftop, but if you smoke, please be considerate of those around you so as not to disturb other guests.If smoking is found in the room, an additional charge of 20,000 yen will be charged.

- What should I do if I can’t figure out how to open the door?
